Joe Gaspari mastered the air guitar at a very young age.  That could only last so long, so he finally picked up a real guitar in high school.  After learning some of the basics and informally playing for quite a few years, it was time to get serious.  He started playing at his church where there were several professional musicians.  He then began to study some music theory and picked the brain of one of the best guitarists in Chicago, Kraig McCreary.  It was then that Joe expanded on his music capabilities.  He quickly joined the band Mercury Rising.  Joe soon began filling his schedule with gigs in the band as well as rotating between 4 different churches playing in their praise bands.  After a short hiatus when Mercury Rising was forced to call it quits, Joe jumped at the chance to join the guys in Caozz.  Joe enjoys playing with a lot of energy.  "Thank God for wireless" he says referring to getting down on the dance floor with the crowd while playing.   

Joe is married to his wife, Karla, who he thanks for letting him do what he loves.  She's a huge support and attends most of his gigs.  He has 2 kids, Mike and Katie that will grace him with their presence once in a while at a show.
