Chuck plays bass and joined CaOzz in March of ’09. Prior to joining the band Chuck played with Brian in ‘90s cover band Third Shift. He’s also played in bands with names like Mad Dog, Café Wah? and Fish Gravy. He spent his early 20’s playing with Silence So Loud (now M28) where he played in most of Illinois’ fine college towns and played venues like Mabel’s, The Blind Pig and Otto’s. In addition to playing in CaOzz he recently joined the Chicagoland Pops Orchestra and is a former member of the Peoria Symphony and Knox-Galesburg Symphony. A Western Illinois University alum, he played in WIU’s Pan Clan Band of Steel. In a playing career that’s now spanned 20 years he’s also played in the pit for many youth and high school theater groups and subbed in WIU’s Jazz Studio Orchestra, the WIU Faculty Jazztet and the Russ Morgan Big Band.
